Barbara Miller

Barbara A. Zysk Miller, 71 of Cranesville, died Friday January 1, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. Barbara was born April 27, 1938 in Erie, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Mitkowski Zysk. She graduated from St. Benedict Catholic School in Erie and worked as a nurse's aid, home healthcare aid and worked in hospice training in Albion, Cranesville, Springfield and Lake City. Later she worked in the same capacity as a private duty nurse's aid. Barbara's main priority in life was taking care of her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed flower gardening and collecting angels. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Zysk. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert H. Miller; her daughters, Karen A. Miller of Nevada City, Ca., and Julie A. Miller of Cranesville; her sons, Michael D. Miller and his companion Sandy Dimon of Cranesville, and Mark R. Miller and his fiance' Erin Fitzgerald of Harborcreek; sister Helen Tkacik of San Diego, Ca.; brother Raymond Zysk of Erie; grandchildren Paige M. Hendrickson and her husband Andrew of Middleburg, Fl., Dakota J. Huston of Cranesville, Austin J. Miller and Kaleb R. Miller, both of West Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. No calling hours or services will be observed.
