I was saddened to hear of Doc\'s passing. I had the good fortune to know Doc as a teacher, friend, and co worker. I will think of him often as I pull out of the yard with an oversize load.

Bill was a wonderful teacher and a treasured friend. After I graduated from Girard High School I continued to keep in touch with him on frequent trips back to Girard. My last encounter with him was at Albion Vet where he had his beloved dog and I had my beloved Cat. We both shared stories of our critters and gave each other one last hug.
I will miss you Mr. Daugherty and you will NEVER be forgotten. Goodbye my dear friend.
