Frank Licsko

Frank Licsko, 82 of Girard, died Saturday March 27, 2010 at Pleasant Ridge Manor following a brief illness.
 He was born in Girard February 28, 1928, the son of the late John and Veronica Hydoak Licsko.
 Frank was raised and educated in the Girard area. As America was at war, he enlisted in the US Army where he was deployed with the 349th Infantry to Italy.Upon his discharge from the military he returned to the Girard area and began working at the Marx Toy Co., and later at Parker-White Metal (Now PHB Diecast) retiring from there in 1992.
 He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Girard, the Fairview American Legion Post# 742, the Edinboro McKean VFW Post# 740, the Siebenbuerger Club and enjoyed vegetable gardening.
 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Anna Marie Hornyak.
 He is survived by his second wife, Marie Burch Licsko of Fairview, whom he married December 27, 1982 in Fairview; also by, three daughters, Darlene M. Leonardi and her husband John, Gloria A. Miller and her husband Allan, Brenda L. Rensel all of Erie; a son Richard F. Licsko of Fairview; a step daughter, Christine Zimmer of Erie; three step sons, Kelly Burch and his wife Liz of Erie, Steve Burch and his wife Robin of Girard, Andy Burch and his wife Sallie of Fairview; a brother Steve Licsko of Lake City; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
 Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard. Services will be held there on Wednesday at 10AM.
 Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Girard.

We have so many wonderful memories of a truly special Uncle who cared about family more than anything. To know him was to love him. He never said a bad word about anyone and there is a special place in heaven just for him.
