Margaret Danko Wojsiat, 89 a former resident of Girard, died at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge on Monday May 3, 2010.
  She was born July 25, 1920 in Girard, a daughter of the late John and Anna Laszkovcyk Danko.
 Margaret during her early life had been employed at Lord Corporation and Marx Toy's, but was a also a devoted homemaker,wife and mother.
 She was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church in Girard, where she was active in the Altar Rosary Society when she was young. She enjoyed cooking, baking and flower gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Frank Wojsiat in 1996 whom she married on February 14, 1946 in Erie. she was also preceded by two sisters, Mary Kremenik and Julia Lobb, and one brother, John Danko.
  She is survived by a son, Dennis W. Wojsiat and his wife Sharlene of Lake City and a sister, Pauline Habursky and several nieces and nephews.
 Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8PM at Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard. A Prayer Service will be held there on Friday at 10:30AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 101 Olin Ave., Girard at 11AM.
 Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
