Bruce E. Stoll, 62, of Lake City, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence, following a brief illness.
He was born on November 9, 1955, a son to the late James Stoll and Ladonna Mae (Sisson) Stoll.
Bruce graduated from in Rice Avenue Union High School in 1973. Following high school he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving as a submarine tender and in the foundry during until his honorable discharge on April 28, 1975.
Upon his discharge, he attended truck driving school in Wilmington, DE and began his driving career with Birkmire Trucking.
Bruce is well known around the area for his passion of cars and auto body while spending countless hours in his garage working on his latest project.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his only son, Bruce E. Stoll, Jr. in 2016; a sister, Deborah Brocious, brother, Charles Stoll, and sister-in-law, Joyce Sadowski.
He will be greatly missed by his family, which includes his wife, Deronda "Dee" (Wilson) Stoll, whom he married on May 27, 1978 in Long Beach, CA; daughters, Stephanie (Thomas) Head and Stacy L. (William) Burns; a sister, Lillian Crass of Lake City; brother, James (Barbara) Stoll of CA; brother-in-law, James R. (Lisa) Wilson of Lake City; grandsons, Thomas Head, Justin Head, Jesse Head, and Alexander Peterson, Joshua Stoll and Bruce Stoll III; granddaughter, Danyale Burns; mother-in-law, Deronda "Donnie" Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. E., Girard, on Thursday, April 12th from Noon to 1:00 pm; with a Service at 1:00 p.m. Internment will be private.
