Cheryl L. (Dunn) Guntrum

Cheryl L. (Dunn) Guntrum, 54 of Albion, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
 She was born June 18, 1963 in Erie, a daughter of Donald A. Dunn of Albion and the late Florence (Carlberg) Dunn.
 Cheryl graduated from McDowell High School in 1981. Following high school she attended J.H. Thompson Academy in Erie. She later graduated from the Edison College in Ft. Myers, FL as a Registered Nurse. She began her employment as a Nurse at Shell Point Nursing Home, returning to the West County area and working for Hamot Hospital (UPMC Hamot). She had most recently employed by Pleasant Ridge Manor for the last 27 years.
 She was a long time member of Grace Church in Erie and in her younger years, played cello and sang in the choir there. She also played the cello for the Erie Youth Philharmonic.
 Cheryl loved decorating her home and taking care of her family, she always made an open home to those in need.
 She will be greatly missed by her family which include her husband, Joel E. Guntrum, whom she married August 1, 1987 in Lake Wales, FL, her daughter, Rachel M. Guntrum of Cleveland, OH; her son, Joshua E. Guntrum of Albion; two brothers, Robert Dunn (Robin) of Pasadena TX, Stephan Dunn (Anne Marie) of Chambersburg, PA; her granddaughter, Willow A. Reed; an Aunt, Louise A. Stuart and best friends, Lynne Geiger and Kathy Mountain.
 Friends may call on Friday from 5:30 to the time of a Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Church, 7300 Grubb Rd., Erie with Rev. Mike Watson officiating.
