Evelyn J. Koford

Evelyn J. Koford, 88, of Girard, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 26, 2018 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.
 She was a lifelong resident of Girard, born July 28, 1929, the daughter of the late John F. and Thora (Jenson) Koford.
 Evelyn graduated from Girard's Rice Avenue Union High School in 1947. Following high school she attended and graduated fromVilla Maria. She was employed and retired from St. Vincent Health Center in Erie.
 She was a long time member of the Girard Alliance Church, where she was an organist and pianist for many years. She really loved her church and going to Chautauqua Lake.
 Evelyn is survived by her brother, John Koford (Virginia), a niece, Susan Gantt (Matt); three nephews, John Koford (Gale), James Koford and Jeffery Koford; great nieces, Jacey and Emily, and nephews, Nathan, Ben and Sam and a special friend, Jared Jacobsen of San Diego, CA.
 Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Girard Alliance Church, 229 Rice Ave., Girard with Rev. Clyde Davis officiating.
 Burial was in the Girard Cemetery.
