Jessie E. (McMillen) Bronoel

Jessie E. (McMillen) Bronoel, 86 of Lake City formerly of Girard, passed away on Thursday February 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. 
 She was born February 11, 1931 in Conneautville, a daughter of the late William and Claribel (Phelps) McMillen.
 Jessie moved to the Girard area as a young girl and attended Rice Avenue Union High School. She worked as an Assembler at Marx Toy's in Girard on the train assembly line. She later worked for Spectrum Control in Fairview (Now API) as an Assembler. She began her own business "Robin's Nest Ceramics" in Girard on Tannery Road which she owned and operated for 11 years. 
 The reminder of her life was devoted to her husband and family as a homemaker, canning, mowing and taking care of her home.
 She was a long time member of the Girard United Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and ceramics.
 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl R. Bronoel on January 1, 2010, also by sisters, Patricia Smith and Edna Kuhn also a brother, James McMillen.
 She will be greatly missed by her family, which include three daughters, Dannetta I. Simkovitch (Richard), Melodie J. Graham (Dwight), Robin R. Bloom; a sister, Evelyn Hale (Jim); a brother, John McMillen (Esther); her grandchildren, Harland Simkovitch, Jessica Simkovitch, Kyle Bloom (Bryn), Erin Bloom, Shane Bloom and Tara O'Brien (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Alisha Prindle (Robert Jr.), Nicholas Neal, Mia Bartlebaugh and Logan Simkovitch also several nieces and nephews.
 No calling hours will be observed.
 Friends are invite to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 11 am at the Girard Cemetery with Rev. Brock Beveridge officiating.
 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Girard Methodist Church, 48 Main St. East, Girard, PA 16417 or to SouthernCare Hospice, 3939 W. Ridge Rd., Erie, Pa 16506.
