Melanie M. Cornman

Melanie M. Cornman, 41, of Erie, died unexpectedly of heart complications to reunite with her father and grandmother that have preceded her, on Saturday September 15, 2018.
 She was born in Jacksonville, NC, October 11, 1976, a daughter of Nadine M. (Craig) Cornman Oleson and the late Frank A. Cornman.
 Melanie graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1993 and later worked at Giant Eagle (Yorktowne Plaza), the Blair Call Center and Lowes in Erie. Most recently she had been employed at Elk Valley Elementary School and Rice Avenue Middle School in Girard, where she worked in the cafeteria. She loved many things in life, watching movies with her children, going on family vacations, spending time at the family camp in Spring Creek, but her children and family were always her priority. She was known as a "giver", to anyone who knew her.
 She will be greatly missed by her family, which in addition to her mother, includes her step father, Jon Oleson; a daughter, Madison M. Cornman; a son, Mason T. Vinglas; two sisters, Jennifer Chase (Ryan), Emily Platz (Joe); two brothers, Jon D. Cornman (Amber), William R. Cornman (Morgan) and many couisins, aunts uncles and friends.
 Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to the time of a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard.
