Oh Cathy and family... There are no words for the sadness that the news of Mikey's passing brings to so many, including us. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers. As always, we love you and grieve with you during the hardships that have come to bear on you and yours, but rejoicing in the knowledge that Jesus comforts those that mourn and sure that He is meeting you in your grief. Jesus' perspective is an eternal one that we can trust, even as we walk this treacherous and temorary path on the planet. May your remaining steps here be illuminated by the Light of the world. ~Love you all, Mike & Debbie Peterson

To my family,
So sorry for your loss. Mikey left us way too soon. Prayers are on the way for healing and for this awful disease to stop killing our young people. Love you all and God Bless! Rip Mike!

I didn't know your loved one, Michael, but he caught my eye as I was online, and I was saddened as I read his history, especially his military career. He was a true American hero heeding the call to serve our nation to preserve our freedoms. I am so truly sorry for your loss, he'll always be in your hearts. May our Heavenly Father comfort each of you.

We thank him for his service on behalf of us. It's so hard to stop questioning "why". Only God knows as He has known his mind and spirit throughout his life. Our hearts go out to all of you at this most painful time. We believe he is at peace now. The peace of the Lord comfort you.

I metMike when he was stationed in El Paso, Tx. I dated him for awhile, I remember called his mom and told her he had a Mexican girlfriend, I’m not really Mexican but it humored him. I was in complete disbelief when I heard Mike’s accident. My heart hurts for your family. I want to thank you, his mother and father for bringing Mike into this world. Without them I would’ve never met you. He was such a beautiful, hilarious, 1 of a kind man, and such a character! I pray your family gets through this tough time. God bless y’all. I’m so sorry for your loss. He will visit us in our dreams I know it.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I met Mike 2 years ago in the Dom in Butler. He was such a quiet but funny guy. His wit was charming and light hearted. We talked quite a bit while he was here, and we were friends on facebook. I just texted him a week ago, and watched his live podcast...... needless to say he had me in stiches. May the perpetual light of our Lord be with you Mike..... You will be sorely missed.
