Shawn A. Miniaci

Shawn A. Miniaci, 37 of Girard, Lost his Battle with addiction on Thursday February 8, 2018.
 He was born April 8, 1980 in Erie, a son of Cheryl C. Andrews (James) and Samuel A. Miniaci of East Springfield.
 Shawn attended the Girard High School. He began working as a young man at the age of 15 for his families business, Lake City Housing, as a Carpenter. Later he was employed by Sunshine Cleaning in Erie, where he trained as a Manager. Most recently he had been employed by Window Cleaning by Jim of Erie.
 Shawn loved photography and tinkering with cars since he was a boy. He also loved using his hands as an Artist since a young age.
 He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah A. Miniaci on March 27, 2007.
 Shawn will be greatly missed by his family which in addition to his parents include two daughters, Lara Brianna Miniaci, Shaylee Anne Miniaci; a son, Shane Robert Miniaci; a sister, Sondra A. Gariepy (Brian P. Jr); half sisters, Felicity Miniaci, Holly Minaci-Todd, Marjorie Miniaci; half brothers, Samuel A. Miniaci III and Jacob Miniaci, also many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and a grand niece.
 Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard. A Prayer Service will be held there on Sunday at 8 pm.
 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shawn Miniaci Memorial Fund, C/O Edder Funeral Home, Inc.
