Hazel M. (Williams) Coulson

Hazel M. (Williams) Coulson, 72, of Erie, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.
 She was born November 27, 1948 in Quinwood, WV, a daughter of the late Luther B. and Beulah M. (Douglas) Williams.
 Hazel graduated from Fairview High School in 1968 and worked at the Erie County Home (Now Pleasant Ridge Manor) as a Receptionist and Aid while in high school. She later worked at Rondale (now Abington Crest) as an Aid and in the Laundry Department. She also cleaned for Union Bank in Erie and had worked for the National Security Agency while living in Maryland. Hazel had been employed later at LSI, building light fixtures and also Sunburst Electronics building wiring harnesses and electronic systems.
 She was an avid New England Patriots fan and her number one player and quarterback was Brett Favre. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Don, to many areas of the country and spent time traveling through locks in Michigan and Kentucky. She also enjoyed all types of crafts as well as macramé, puzzles and crocheting.
 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Santiago and two brothers, David Williams and Walter Williams.
 Hazel will be greatly missed by her family, which include her husband, Donald C. Coulson, whom she married March 2, 1968 in Erie; a daughter, Michelle L. Miller of Erie; sisters, Virginia Lewis and Barbara Hopkins of Erie, Shelby Fies of Girard, Rebecca Hanson (Edwin) of Tucson, AZ; brother, Robert Williams (Chris) of Albion; her grandchildren, Ashley Rodrigues (Daniel) and Cody Ewer, a sister in  law, Sandy Williams of Erie and many nieces and nephews.
 Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be held privately by the family. 
 Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
