Joan M. Martin

Joan M. Martin, 74 ,of Lake City, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
   She was born on September 12, 1946 to the late Richard and Betty Jane (Phillips) Jackson in Erie, PA. She grew up in Millcreek and attended McDowell High School.  Joan lived in Florida for a short time before returning to the Erie area.  
 Joan was a member of New Beginnings Church in Fairview and enjoyed all type of crafts, making them for friends and family. 
  She will be greatly missed by her family, which include by her husband, Robert F. Martin, whom she married on October 16, 1966 in Millcreek; a daughter, Michelle Cessna (Robert); sons, Robert R. Martin, Joseph A. Martin (Christine) and Dean S. Martin (Bridget Scott); grandchildren, Matthew, Colin, Ashley, Chelsea and Serenity. 
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Ann Smith and her brother, Richard Jackson.
 Friends may call on Saturday at Edder Funeral Home Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard from 12 noon to the time of service 2PM with Pastor Paul Friend officiating. 
  Burial will take place in the Girard Cemetery.
