Joyce A. (Keith) McPeak

Joyce A. (Keith) McPeak, 84, of Girard, went to be with the Lord on Monday May 22, 2023, at UPMC Hamot.

 She was born October 27, 1938, in Erie, a daughter of the late Willard and Frances (Burton) Keith.

 Joyce attended Albion High School and later began employment at Great Lakes Growers Association. This association worked with local farmers, where they brought their produce to the plant, it was then made ready for companies to sell to grocery stores by freezing and packaging their products. She later worked at Town Square "The Pie Factory" in Lake City and most recently had been employed at Precise Plastics in Fairview, as a Machine Operator and retiring as an Inspector in 2000.

 She was a member of the Albion Assembly of God Church and Bethel Assembly of God Church in Girard, where she taught Sunday School a total of 45 years to the 4- and 5-year-olds. She loved baking, flower gardening and tending to her plants inside her home.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth L. McPeak Jr. on March 25, 2019, a daughter, Kendra L. King also a brother, William Keith and a granddaughter, Danielle King.

 Her family includes her husband, Kenneth L. McPeak Sr., whom she married June 29, 1957 in Albion; her daughters, Debbie M. Rydzewski (Gary) of Erie; son in law, Kevin King of Harborcreek; three brothers, Ronald Keith of Albion, Gerald "Jerry" Keith (Mary) of Albion, and Daniel Keith (Dawn) of  South Carolina; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 Friends may call at the Bethel Assembly of God Church, 1414 Lake St., Girard on Friday from 12 Noon to the time of services at 2 PM With Rev. Tim Halbig officiating.

 Burial will be in the Hope Cemetery.

 Memorials may be made to Bethel Assembly of God Church.
