Leslie J. Graves, 53 of Lake City died on Thursday November 4th, 2021.
Leslie was born June 12, 1968, a son to Wayne and Margaret (Tercho) Graves.
Leslie attended Northwestern High school and following school, was employed at various positions locally. He then took a job with General Electric. Following this he worked with Rehrig Pacific CO as well as Wab Tech.
Leslie loved using his own two hands to build and create. He worked with Hammertime Construction, learning the trade as he fabricated additions and made renovations. He added on to his own home and built a garage. He could often be found tearing apart an engine and replacing portions of vehicles. He was generous with his time and knowledge, helping those who asked in any way he could.
Leslie was also fond of camp, getting away from the stresses of life in a little patch of land on the outskirts of Cambridge Springs. Leslie and his wife belonged to bowling leagues at both Westway Lanes and Lake City Lanes. He often played games such as darts and corn hole. In the past few years, he enjoyed hunting, both archery and rifle.
Leslie was preceded in death by his step-father, Kenneth E. Whaley, who raised him from an early age; and a son, Corey Graves-Perry.
He will be greatly missed by his family which include his wife, Crystal Graves; mother, Margaret Whaley; daughter, Haile Graves; step-daughter, Jennifer Mowry; sons, Justin Graves, Ty Perry; step-sons, Travis Carr, Richard Williams; brothers Wayne Graves (Cirsten), Andy Graves, Brian Graves (Tammie), Michale Graves (Carrie); and two grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
