Mark Cross Obituary

Mark E. Cross, 57, died unexpectedly on Monday February 1, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. 
Mark was born March 20, 1963 in Eucino, CA, a son of the late William and Linda (Hossman) Cross.
 He graduated from Simi Valley High School in 1981. Following high school he was employed by Trailer Life Magazine as a Sales Representative in advertising. Later he worked with Warner Brothers Studios in production placement, his work there involved adding brand names into movies. In 1996 Mark moved to Las Vegas where he worked with Asahi Seiko, a electronic production company, in sales. In the year 2000, Mark moved to Girard where he continued his work in sales at Gary Miller Chevrolet  as well as at Blair Clothing in Girard.  Most recently he worked at the West County News until his retirement. During his retirement he was employed part time at Community Resource for Independence. 
  While living in California Mark assisted with Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed "Antiquing" and long walks though the town of Girard.  Mark was a member of the Girard Sons of the American Legion Post #494.  
  In addition to his parents Mark was preceded in death by a son, Alexander "Alex" P. Cross and a sister, Marsha Cross.
 He will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife, Suzette (Picotte) Cross whom he married September 20, 1986 in Calabasas, CA; a daughter, Nicole P. Schwartz (Jon); two sons, Nicholas W. Cross his finance, Amy Jo Priester and Matthew P. Rezinas (Lisa); a sister, Michelle L. Shipe (Jonas); a brother, Micheal C. Cross; six grandchildren, Garrett Rezinas, Brooke Rezinas, Emma Rezinas, Andrew Rezinas, Jagger Schwartz, and Josie Schwartz and several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services will be held privately by the family.
 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Northwestern Kidney Foundation, Yorktown Center Suite 632, 2501 W. 12th St. Erie, PA 16505.
