Mark R. Miller, 48, of Cranesville died unexpectedly on Friday June 11, 2021.
Mark was born March 24, 1973 a son of the late Robert H. and Barbara A. (Zysk) Miller.
Mark graduated from Northwestern High School in 1992. Following high school he worked in various positions at Lake City Homes, Emsco, and Presque Isle Downs and Casino . Until he found his permanent place at West County Paramedics as a Wheel Chair Transport Driver.
Mark had a passion for helping others. He became a fire fighter as a junior in high school. Later in life he became a Emergency Medical Responder. His volunteering continued into adulthood, at the Cranesville Volunteer Fire Department, Albion Volunteer Fire Department serving as Lieutenant and Captain, most recently at the Platea Volunteer Fire Company. He was a social member of the Engine House 39 in Edinboro. Mark loved his friends and family, adoring his wife Erin. Together they had many trips to Raceway 7. Mark enjoyed music particularly AC/DC and Disturbed as well as caring for his lawn at home.
In addition to his parents Mark was preceded in death by a special friend William "Bill" Melius.
Mark will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife Erin (Fitzgerald) Miller whom he married August 7, 2010; two sons, Austin and Kaleb Miller; two sisters, Karen and Julie Miller; a brother, Michael Miller (Sandy Dimon); two nieces, Paige Miller and Jordan Scavo; two nephews, Marcus Scavo and Dakota Huston; also close friends, Chris, Diana, and Austin Moyer, in addition to Brit Crilley; Brad Johnson, and their daughter Presley.
Friends may call on Friday June 18, 2021 from 5:00 to the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home Inc. 309 Main St. E. Girard, PA 16417
